Happy New Year! I’m so looking forward to 2019. Last year was quite a year, with many changes for my Chickenlandia life and my personal life as well. Of course, there were many ups and downs, but the overall trajectory has been positive. Here’s to the New Year taking the chicken cake as well!

I’ve made some pretty significant New Year’s resolutions and I’m truly hoping to accomplish them. One of them is to focus on improving my health. I’ve gotten into the terrible habit of not getting enough sleep. Some of it has to do with The Little Prince of Chickenlandia not sleeping as well as I’d like, but if I’m honest, most of it has to do with my bad habits. I’ve been looking at my phone and watching too much Netflix at night, when I should be making sure to hit the pillow sooner. I hope that by writing this I’ll actually make a real effort to get more rest. After all, the alternative doesn’t look all that pretty!

Another thing I really want to accomplish this year, and I don’t really discuss this much in the video below, is I want to spend more time with my family. I’ve had some minor health challenges in 2018 and they effected me mostly in an emotional way. The result was, I didn’t make enough of an effort to spend time with the Chickenlandia kids. It’s hard for me to admit things like this, but I imagine I’m not the only one experiencing it. I’m determined to be healthier in 2019, both physically and emotionally. What about you? Do you have similar goals?

Now let’s get to the fun stuff!
