Meet our Instructors

Dalia Monterroso, also known as The President of Chickenlandia, is a Backyard Chicken Educator in Northwest Washington. Dalia is known for her YouTube Channel “Welcome to Chickenlandia” as well as her 2017 TEDx Talk, “I Dream of Chickens”.

Kelcie Paulis, also known as the Chickenlandia Presidential Advisor, has been raising animals for most of her life. At 18 years old, she received a Veterinary Assistant Certification. Kelcie raises rare breed poultry, dwarf goats, alpaca, and more on her family’s homestead. She will be assisting to answer questions within the interactive part of the course.

Kids will love learning how to care for their new flock through this course. Depending on their age and ability, they may need supervision from an adult. It’s a great activity for parents and kids to learn about chickens together!
